CT Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash

A 65-year-old motorist was killed in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash.

It happened in Windham County in Hampton on Route 6 in Hampton around 2:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19.

According to the Connecticut State Police, James Harvey of the Windham County village of Wauregan was driving east on his 1994 Honda PC800 motorcycle when he hit a 2009 Nissan Vera, driven by a 22-year-old Hampton woman who was making a turn.

The crash caused heavy damage to both vehicles, state police said.

Harvey was rushed to Windham Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Nissan driver was not injured, state police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
